Implant retained dentures
A dental implant is an artificial root placed into the jaw. Implants can serve to support a dental crown replacing a single missing tooth, or support a dental bridge for the replacement of multiple missing teeth without the preparation of the adjacent natural teeth. In case of complete edentulousness they can also be used with dentures to increase stability.
