Fixed partial dentures (FPD)
Crown is a type of FPD that covers prepared axial surfaces of the tooth and is bonded to the tooth by using dental cement. It is used where there are extensive areas of defective axial tooth structure, or if there is need to modify contours to refine occlusion or improve esthetics.
A bridge is a type of FPD, that is used to replace a missing tooth by joining permanently to adjacent teeth, remaining roots or dental implants. When restoring an edentulous space with a bridge, it will crown the teeth adjacent to the space and bridge the gap with a pontic.

Implant retained dentures
A dental implant is an artificial root placed into the jaw. Implants can serve to support a dental crown replacing a single missing tooth, or support a dental bridge for the replacement of multiple missing teeth without the preparation of the adjacent natural teeth. In case of complete edentulousness they can also be used with dentures to increase stability.
All ceramic restorations
All ceramic restorations were introduced more than a 100 years ago but reliable restorations are only available since new technology and materials science has evolved and computers became increasingly a part of crown and bridge fabrication. Metal-free restorations reproduce better natural aesthetic as there is no underlaying metals substructure and are bio-compatible. Inlays, onlays, porcelain veneers, and all varieties of crowns and bridges can be fabricated out of ceramic materials.

Complete removable dentures
In case of edentulousness full dentures are a possible solution to replace all of the teeth in one arch. Three main parts the base plate, artificial gingival and artificial teeth restore function, phonetics and aesthetics.
Combined dentures
Fixed bridgework connected to a partial denture with a precision attachment. We use them in those cases when number or position of the remaining teeth does not allow for a fixed bridge. The patient can insert and remove the partial dentures and the aim of the precision attachment is to give the patient maximum esthetics, comfort and ease while wearing, inserting or removing.
